IUIS 2025 Congress: Just a few days to go!

Join EFIS at IUIS 2025 in Vienna

EFIS is proud to play an active role marking its 50th anniversary at IUIS 2025, taking place in Vienna, Austria from August 17 to 22, 2025. Join us as we celebrate five decades of supporting immunological research and collaboration across Europe and beyond.

As part of the scientific program, EFIS will host a guest symposium titled "Immunity Mediated by Innate Lymphocytes" on Wednesday, August 20 at 13:45 in Hall N. This session will feature leading experts presenting the latest discoveries in the field of innate lymphoid cells

A major highlight of EFIS’s presence at IUIS 2025 will be the Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony, honoring Professor Klaus Rajewsky, a pioneer in immunology. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 19 at 12:30 in Hall L1, and will include a short lecture by Professor Rajewsky following the award presentation.

We will also recognize emerging talent at the ACTERIA Foundation Early Career Research Awards session on Wednesday, August 20 at 12:30 in Hall N, celebrating promising contributions from young investigators.

Be sure to visit the EFIS booth in the exhibition hall—a hub for networking, information, and community connection. The booth will also serve as a meeting point for this year’s EFIS Travel Grant recipients. In partnership with the ACTERIA Foundation and European Journal of Immunology (EJI), EFIS is proud to have awarded travel grants to nearly 100 early-career researchers to support their participation in IUIS 2025.

As we celebrate 50 years of EFIS, we look forward to honoring our legacy, showcasing our impact, and looking ahead to the future of immunology—together with you.
