yEFIS Improving Academia WG Launching a New Survey
The yEFIS Improving Academia Working Group is launching a new survey to map the landscape of PhD completion requirements across different universities and institutes in Europe. This survey is open to current PhD candidates and recent graduates (within 3 years of thesis defence) working in fields related to immunology.Link to survey
Have you ever found yourself in discussion with peers from other institutes and discovered that the conditions attached to your graduations are different? Maybe you need a publication and your colleague doesn't. Maybe you meet with independent/external experts in the course of your PhD and your colleague doesn't. Maybe you have a hard deadline for submission, and your colleague doesn't. These factors shape the PhD experience to a large extent, but they vary widely across institutes and across countries and are not well-documented.
Help us counter this information gap for the next generation of PhD students, by answering a few questions about your degree. Please share widely to make our map as complete as possible!
